HOW TO LOOK LIKE YOU HAVE A LOT OF BIKINIS WITHOUT SPENDING A LOT

It is finally summer and school is over, at least for the Philippines, and when this community quarantine is lifted, flocks of people will start flooding the beaches (with safety precautions i hope) and our timelines will soon be full of beach bums and sunset views once again. However, since everyone suffered financially one way or another during the lockdown, I want to give 4 important world changing advise (lol jk) that I picked up along the way since I am also a beach hoe on budget almost all my life.
#1 - THRIFT YOUR BIKINIS!!!! - not only is this the best way to simultaneously look good while saving the environment, it also costs significantly less than buying a new one. This red tie bikini you see over here is actually thrifted from a DLSU/CSB-exclusive facebook buy and sell group for *drumroll please* 50 PESOS!!!! So yeah, I got a lot of bikinis for a fraction of the price since I get them from various thrift shops. Just don't forget to wash well before actually using them.

#2 - REVERSIBLE/TRANSFORM BIKINIS - if you don't want to wear preloved, you should get a reversible bikini or a bikini that you can manipulate the straps to make new looks. Most of these costs 20-50% more expensive but since you can style it in a lot of ways, you get more value for your money. You can also mix and match by wearing the top-side one way and the bottom in the other way so have more variety in your photos. This is a reversible bikini I bought from "Rever Swimwear" that is deep purple on one side and muted blue on one side. I believe it costs me 1,000 pesos.

#3 - BORROW FROM YOUR FRIENDS - The easiest way to look like you have a lot of bikinis in your closest is to start sharing closets with friends you have the same size with. I actually had a hard time with this one since I'm 5"9 with a big butt. I wear a size 8-10 just because of my height and most of my friends are either 2, 4, or 6. Luckily, when I started college, I was able to find friends I could share my bikinis with as well as borrow bikinis from. Such as this beaut of a black offshoulder bikini in this photo that I borrowed from my friend. Just don't forget to return them clean and dry.

#4 - SELL THE BIKINIS YOU'VE OVERUSED - If you REALLY want NEW bikinis, a good way to make sure you spend less money is to sell the bikinis you don't want to use anymore. That way, you only pay for the difference between how much you sold your bikini and how much you're going to buy your new bikini. You can use your own social media accounts to sell to your friends, or carousell.ph which is a good platform to sell preloved items online.

So there you have it! Bikini content you didn't ask for but I think and I hope you guys might need.
